My goal is simple: protect your windshield, save you money, and make the whole thing easy
-
A: It might be driveable, but it’s not ideal. Heat, cold, bumps, and even closing your door too hard can make that chip spread into a long crack very quickly. Repairing it early is always safer and cheaper.
-
A: No repair shop can promise “invisible.” A good repair:
• Stops the damage from spreading
• Strengthens the glass
• Usually makes the chip 60–90% less noticeable
You may still see a small “scar” up close, but it’s a big improvement from where it started.
-
A: Yes. If a repaired chip spreads from the original repair area, we will credit what you paid for the repair toward a replacement or discuss next steps.
-
A: As a general rule:
• Chips: up to about the size of a quarter
• Cracks: up to about 6 inches
Some damage outside that range might still be repairable depending on the location and type of break.
-
A: Most glass installs take about 60-90 minutes on average, depending on the vehicle and the type of glass. Mobile installs can sometimes take longer depending on weather or setup, but we always aim to be efficient without cutting corners.

-
A: The answer is yes; you can. A cracked windshield can cause impaired vision, leading to accidents and injury. According to Georgia law, driving with a cracked windshield or rear window is prohibited if the crack exceeds 3 inches by 3 inches in size. While you can drive with a cracked windshield and may avoid a ticket from police, it’s certainly not advisable. Driving with a cracked windshield can be dangerous and is against the law.
-
A: Yes, you may be surprised to know that impaired vision is not the only reason why you should repair or replace your broken or damaged car windshield. An undamaged windshield is stronger and, in case of accidents, can prevent further injuries. The strength of the windshield/sealant system is designed to keep the roof from crushing in case of a rollover accident. In a front-end collision at approximately 30mph, the windshield/sealant system is designed to keep at least 50% of the glass sealed to the car, which can also keep occupants from being ejected.
